The common themes throughout this course are ‘working with others’ and ‘respect’. The morning session introduces the concept of valuing diversity in the workplace, and asks learners to challenge the barriers that may prevent them from forming fuller, more effective working relationships. The afternoon session helps learners to understand why assertiveness techniques form a good model for cultivating trusting and effective working relationships.
